My first camera was a Minolta film and would shoot on my off time as I was a Victims Advocate (I used it was a way to relax). It wasn't long before I upgraded to Canon DSLR and quit my job and made photography my career. My first publication was in National Geographic, "Your Shot". To me, there was no going back. Before long, I found myself working exclusively with models and magazines and would have models fly from other countries to work with me. Then Hurricane Irma hit and destroyed everything. I turned to screenwriting and was good, but photography was in my blood (my grandfather would sell photos for a nickel with his Kodak camera). Two years ago, I decided to return to photography, only this time I accepted the challenge of iPhone photography and never looked back.
I offer fine art and conceptual photography that would complement any wall in your house, office, business.
Each image starts with a mood board first and foremost, from there, I carefully collect the items that tell the story/emotion that I wish to convey. From there, I shoot from different angles. Now with my scenic, I study the weather at different hours/seasons/etc. to achieve the right tone I am seeking for my images. Afterwards, I sit down and select the best of the best, then edit in both color and black and white.
"AT THE END OF THE DAY" When the queen relaxes.
